Houston Rockets Photographer Fired for Kamala Harris Meme

Longtime NBA photographer for the Houston Rockets Bill Baptist was fired for making a meme about Kamala Harris. 

Baptist took a photo of the now Vice Presidential candidate and titled it “Joe and the Hoe.”

This received loads of negative responses and made many upset. In turn, the community outcry to get Baptist fired was successful and he was released of his duties as a photographer for the Rockets franchise.

What went through Baptist’s head at that moment is unknown. Harris has been a senator for California since 2017 and is respected by many, including Joe Biden, one of the presidential candidates in this year’s race.

Baptist will certainly reflect on this reckless decision and think twice before demeaning anyone in his photos.
