Recently Leaked Brooklyn Nets “City” Jersey Edition Pays Tribute To Late Great Rapper “The Notorious B.I.G.”

Thursday morning a tweet from Anthony Puccio (@APOOCH) unveiled a new jersey design for the Brooklyn Nets. The jersey looks to be a regular Brooklyn Nets jersey with a black colorway. However, the outline features a “Coogi” designed pattern, a fashion line that features colourful knitwear founded in 1969. In the mid to late nineties, Brooklyn born rapper and icon, “The Notorious B.I.G.” was seen rocking the brand throughout iconic photo shoots and concerts on multiple occasions.

These jerseys are expected to be released officially in November but it’s still unclear when we’ll see Net’s players wearing them at the Barclays Center. City edition jerseys are a great way to express the cities culture and history. What are your thoughts on the leaked jerseys?
