Top Players: Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Ron Harper, Steve Kerr.

Is there any surprise here? This 72-10 team may not hold the title for the best NBA record anymore, but at least they didn’t forget to put the icing on the cake. Michael Jordan’s legacy was built in championships, and so was the Bulls morale because of it. Six championships for any team is unbelievable, but they held the record for best team until the Warriors beat it by one win, but did not win the NBA Finals.

2.) 1972 Miami Dolphins

Top Players: Don Shula (Coach), Bob Griese, Earl Morrall, Larry Csonka.

The 1972 Dolphins are the only NFL team to win the Super Bowl with a perfect season. The undefeated campaign was led by coach Don Shula and notable players Bob Griese, Earl Morrall, and Larry Csonka who are now embedded into the NFL Hall of Fame.

Wayne Gretzky built his Hall of Fame career in Edmonton winning Lord Stanley’s for the Oilers in dominant fashion. Hockey unanimous ‘GOAT’ did not carry the team, but he sure did do a whole lot. Glenn Anderson, Paul Coffey, and Mark Messier picked up defensively while Gretzky did his best on the offensive side of the ice. This is the best hockey team that has skated on NHL ice.

8.) 1989 San Francisco 49ers

9.) 2013-14 Connecticut Huskies (Women’s Basketball )

Top Players: Breanna Stewart, Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis, Bria Hartley, Stefanie Dolson, Kia Nurse.

40-0 and a championship sounds just about as dominant as possible right? This team was destroying other college basketball programs left and right, and by a lot. Breonna Stewart is now in dominating the WNBA as expected. All of UCONN’s top players listed above are in the colleges top twenty in scoring history. Pure dominance.

10.) 1962 Green Bay Packers

Top Players: Vince Lombardi (Coach & GM), Bart Starr, Jim Taylor, Ron Kramer, Tom Moore.

This Packers squad was where football was truly paved. Lambeau Field with Vince Lombardi, winning the Lombardi Trophy.
