The Oklahoma City Thunder have traded PF Jerami Grant to the Denver Nuggets in exchange for a 2020 1st round pick (confirmed by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN).
This move comes off another recent move of the Thunder trading Paul George to the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for five 1st picks, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Danilo Gallinari.
The Thunder seem to be moving forward towards rebuilding and could soon top it off with trading Russell Westbrook to likely suitors like the Detroit Pistons and Miami Heat.
The Nuggets get a very good starting caliber role player in Jerami Grant who can switch 1-4 and hit the 3-pointer effectively, a model 3-and-D player.
This move also saves the Oklahoma City Thunder $39 Million in salary and luxury tax.
