Saturday afternoon was a crazy one for the NFL community after reliable sources “confirmed” that the 7-time Super Bowl Champion Tom Brady retired from football.
Well, that’s not necessarily true at this moment after TB12’s father confirmed that Tom has not made a final decision on his future in the NFL, and wants to take some time to make a huge life decision. If Tom Brady wants to retire, he has earned that right after indenting his name into NFL history season after season.
The future Hall of Fame QB would go down as the NFL’s all-time leader in passing yards, touchdowns, completions, and most importantly wins along with several other playoff accomplishments including most Super Bowl wins and MVPs. Tom Brady was the real deal.
If Tom Brady elects he wants to stay in the NFL, the Buccaneers need to do whatever they can to keep their offense intact for Brady’s 23rd season.
Gronk, Godwin and several others are in need of an extension and it’s going to be tough to sign Godwin long-term and still retain big names.
The NFL would be losing an icon that has played at an elite level for two decades. Tom Brady was a true competitor, something every fan can admire.
