Jalen Green is set to return before the Christmas break, per Rockets insider Alykhan Bijani.

On the 24th of November, Green injured his groin late in the first quarter against the Chicago Bulls. Green scored 11 points in 11 minutes and this was the start to the Houston Rockets 7-game winning streak.

Jalen Green was selected with the 2nd overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft and in 18 games played, Green has averages of 14.0 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists. He has shown multiple times that he can score at an elite level, one of them being in a loss against the Boston Celtics where Green put up a rookie season-high 30 points.

Jalen Green and Kevin Porter Jr, are yet to play a game together with the Houston Rockets new “No Daniel Theis” lineup so when they both return we will be able to see the Rockets at their full potential. The Rockets are currently the 14th seed in the Western Conference with a record of 10-21. Will they make a playoff push when Green and Porter Jr, return? We will have to wait and see.
