NBA Players of the week announced
The NBA Players of the week for week 9 were just announced. For the Western Conference, Minnesota Timberwolves centre Karl-Anthony Towns was chosen, and for the eastern Conference, forward Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics was awarded. Last week, the players of the week were LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers and Damontas Sabonis of the Indiana Pacers.
Towns’s efforts allows the Timberwolves to achieve a 3-0 record this week. He averaged 28 points, 7 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game. Throughout this season, the Timberwolves have a 15-15 record, with KAT averaging 24.4/9.0/3.4.

Throughout this week, the Celtics had a 2-1 record, and Tatum averaged 31.3 points per game, along with 7.3 rebounds and 4 assists. This season, the Celtics also have a 15-15 record. Tatum’s been averaging 26.2 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game throughout the 2021-2022 season thus far.
