NBA Bubble to never return
In the 2019-2020 season, the NBA had to manage the global pandemic while still allowing players to participate in basketball to finish the season, and to keep viewers watching. In order to do this, they introduced the NBA bubble in Orlando where no players or staff were allowed to exit.
Currently, COVID is making a return in the NBA with more than 50 players currently under health and safety protocols. Despite this, the NBA has no plans to reinstate the NBA bubble, according to Eric Pincus.
