Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson is officially headed to his second consecutive Pro Bowl.
Randy Moss handed the star receiver his retro #84 Vikings jersey from 1999. It was a cool moment and a deserved one as well as the former All-American talent at LSU was passed on by several NFL teams.
Taking a look back at the receivers back in the 2020 NFL draft, the Raiders took Henry Ruggs (12), the Broncos took Jerry Jeudy (15) and the Cowboys grabbed CeeDee Lamb (17), and the Eagles took Jalen Reagor (21).
Then there he was. At pick 22 there was the 2-time All-American WR Justin Jefferson fresh off a historical season at LSU and a National Championship with top pick Joe Burrow to put the icing on the cake.
After witnessing two back-to-back 1000-yard seasons and double digit TDs for Jefferson, his seasons is definitely worth another Pro Bowl stint and it’s still crazy how the Vikings ended up with the best receiver with their 22nd overall selection.
