Is it time for the Hawks to go all in?

0

The Atlanta Hawks have a very promising future. They have one of the most stacked rosters when it comes to young assets. Last year the hawks were just 2 wins away from the NBA finals. What seemed to be a promising season has been derailed by injuries and not being able to close out close games this season. The hawks currently are the 9th seed in the eastern conference. That brings us to the big question: should they go all in or hold onto the assets they have? If they were to go all in, here are some trades that I could see happening.

Karl Anthony-Towns to ATL

Wolves receive

Cam Reddish

Clint Capela

2022 1st (OKC)

Delon Wright

Hawks receive
Karl Anthony-Towns

Josh Okogie

Towns has been with the Timberwolves for 7 seasons. He has only made the playoffs once in those 7. Towns has voiced his frustrations with the Timberwolves organization and the hawks have the pieces to go and get the elite big man. Pairing him with Trae would be a scary duo for years to come!

Bradley Beal finally wants out

Hawks receive

Bradley Beal

Davis Bertans

Wizards receive

John Collins

Bogdan Bogdanović

Sharife Cooper

2022 1st (OKC)

2023 2nd (ATL)

The Hawks have struggled to close out close games this season. Bringing in Beal would help Trae out in the 4th. Beal has voiced in the past his frustrations with the Wizards. Beal is entering the last year of his deal and has not extended. The Hawks adding a guy like Beal would help tremendously. With Okongwu being out for not Bertans is another big who can come off the bench and space the floor and rebound.

Pacers blow it up and move Malcolm Brogdon

Hawks receive

Malcolm Brogdon

 Pacers receive

Bogdan Bogdanović

Cam Reddish

Sharife Cooper

2023 1st (hawks)

The hawks have been horrendous on defense this year, especially in the 2nd half. Brogodn is one of the most underrated guards in the eastern conference. He provides scoring from all over the court, great ball handling, and a good perimeter defender. Reddish has been very inconsistent and Brogodn is a upgrade over Cooper and  Bogdan Bogdanović.
