Travis Kelce Shines in Chiefs’ Divisional Win against the Chargers

After being told for the past couple of weeks that his play was declining, Travis Kelce put his resumè back in the picture frame and reminded the NFL exactly who he is, one of the best tight ends do ever do it.

Kelce racked up a total of 10 receptions for 191 yards and two touchdowns, one being the game winner OT touchdown to secure Kansas City’s top spot in the AFC West.

Kelce surpassed 1,000 yards once again after tonight’s big performance but he was not the only player that had a big night for the Chiefs. Playmaker Tyreek Hill also had triple-digits when it came to receiving after hauling in 12 receptions for 148 yards a touchdown.

LA started slow, but picked up the pace offensively and drove down the field most of the time. The issue was that several points were passed up via the kicker after Chargers’ HC Brandon Staley elected to go for it on 4th down several times.

After a offensive battle and going back and fourth, heading to OT and ending in a walk off TD, you cannot ask for a better game (as long as you’re not a Chargers fan). What a game on Thursday a night Football!

The Kansas City Chiefs now move up to 10-4 and remain in 1st place in the AFC West and will compete for the AFC’s top seed.

As for the Chargers, they will now drop to 8-6. They are certainly still in the playoff picture but a win tonight would have given them 1st place in the division, and they would have swept the Chiefs in their 2-game season series. Could these teams end up playing in the playoffs? Maybe!
