Klay Thompson to return after Christmas

The Golden State Warriors, much like fans, have been waiting for Klay Thompson to get back on the court. Ever since his June 2019 injury – where he tore his ACL in the NBA finals – Thompson has not played a single NBA game. Many have speculated (and hoped) the star shooting guard to return on either the 20th or 23rd of December, which are both home games for the Warriors, or the Christmas Day game versus the Suns at Phoenix. However, this is not the case

According to Anthony Slater, Thompson will not return to play before Christmas, and the earliest possible return date at the moment is December 28th, although this is subject to change. According to Shams Charania, the Warriors are not planning for Thompson to debut on either of the aforementioned home games.

Golden State have been planning extensively to try and bring Thompson back when the time is right in order to prevent any more injuries. He has been battling a hard fight for the past two seasons and fans cannot wait to see him back on the court
