Chad Ochocinco Set to Box at the Mayweather-Paul Undercard against a “bare-knuckle” fighter
Former NFL star, Chad Ochocinco has been booked to fight on the undercard of the Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather fight on June 6th at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. The former wide receiver will go against BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship) veteran, Brian Maxwell.
As a professional football player, Ochocinco played 11 seasons in the NFL, representing teams such as the New England Patriots, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Miami Dolphins. He led the NFL in receiving yards in 2006, is a three time First Team All-Pro player, a six time Pro-Bowler, and a one time second team All Pro player.
Maxwell is a professional MMA fighter who is known most for his bare knuckle fights which are bloody and gruesome, yet so entertaining. As a pro, Maxwell has a record of 2-3-0 and has been around the block on the amateur MMA scene.
This event is a good place for the two fighters to display their boxing skills during the biggest boxing event of the year, and although both fighters do not have pro boxing experience, this fight will be a nail-biter, as both competitors have something to prove and are looking to keep their reputations in tact.
It has not been revealed how much money the fighters will make, but it is expected that both Ochocinco and Maxwell will make a good amount of cash as they are putting their bodies on the line for the fans in attendance and the millions of others watching around the world on Showtime.
