Rap Artist J.Cole Inks Deal to Play Basketball for African Club
Superstar rapper, J Cole has reportedly signed with African basketball team the “Rwanda Patriots BBC”. Cole, known for his lyrical style of rap, also known for his basketball skills, turned down a walk-on spot at St. John’s University to focus on music back in his collegiate days. At 36, Cole finally turned his attention to his second talent and is looking to make an impact on the basketball world.
J Cole is expected to officially sign with Rwanda on Thursday after he completes his mandatory 4 day quarantine and is expected to play his first game on Sunday.
Cole is set to release his album “The Off-Season” and becoming a professional basketball player could be a huge marketing campaign just to gain sales and get people to talk about him to increase his popularity among several demographics.
