Paul Vs Askren: Sells 1.5 million PPV buys thanks to some big names
Jake Paul vs Ben Askren sold upwards to 1.5 million PPV buys, which is a massive amount in today’s streaming world and one of the bigger events in recent years. The Triller Fight Club event (which is promoting Teofimo Lopez’s next Title Defense), featured radio host Mario Lopez as the event host along with Rap legend Snoop Dogg. There were skits during the show like the comedic skit featuring Jaleel White aka Steve Urkel and Snoop Dogg.
Comedian Pete Davidson was hosting backstage duties in which he called out Jake Paul throughout the night for the assault scandal that occurred before the fight.
There were six musical acts that took the stage including big names such as Saweetie, The Black Keys, and Justin Bieber. Triller was sure to put on a huge event and show that they can become a staple in the boxing community. Teofimo Lopez vs George Kambosos is next for Triller either on June 5th.
