Gordon Hayward has signed a 4 year, $120 million deal with the Charlotte Hornets per Adrian Wojnarowski.
The 2017 all-star had his first season with the Celtics in 2017-2018 cut short due to a a gruesome leg injury in the opening game of the season. He came back healthy the following year but was relegated to a bench role where he put up a measly 11.5 points per game.
Last year he was made a full time starter again but was a 4th option behind Tatum, Brown and Kemba where he flourished on the floor averaging 17.5 points per game and a career high 6.7 rebounds per game.
He is joining a Hornets team poised to make their first playoff appearance since 2016 and just their 3rd appearance since becoming a franchise again back in 2004-2005.
