The Florida Gators, once again, have a promising quarterback, Kyle Trask. The redshirt senior quarterback has been dominant this season. Trask hails from Manvel, Texas, and stands in at 6’5”.
Trask, 22, has thrown for 2,171 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions. Trask has thrown for more than 250 yards in every game this season, with just one game under 300 yards. Trask has also thrown for at least 4 touchdowns in each game.
During halftime of Florida’s 63-35 win over Arkansas, backup Gators quarterback, Anthony Richardson tweeted,: “Aye I’m not supposed to be on my phone but somebody tell them to give to give Kyle the Heisman trophy already.”
Florida head coach, Dan Mullen, said the following about Trask: “Kyle is a mature kid who understands it”. Also he mentioned that”Trask doesn’t care about the states, he cares about winning. “Stats are cool, but they don’t win games.”
The Florida Gators are currently ranked 6th in the country with their only loss of the season is to No. 5, Texas A&M. The Gators still have a chance to make the college football playoff with games against Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Tennessee, and LSU remaining.
If Florida can win out during the regular season, they will have a chance to take down No. 1 ranked Alabama in the SEC championship game. Trask is on a roll, and with his previous game against Arkansas, he has solidified himself in the Heisman race.
