Kendrick Bourne’s COVID-19 Test Was a False Positive
49ers receiver, Kendrick Bourne tested positive for the coronavirus on Wednesday, a day before the 49ers were set to take on the Packers on Thursday Night Football. Bourne took another test today and tested negative. It is assumed that Wednesday’s test was a false positive.
Update: Kendrick Bourne's test came back positive Wednesday and negative today. There have been 104 instances this season of a positive one day and a negative the next – and it has been proven positive 101 of the 104 times with further testing.

Bourne’s false positive sidelined Brandon Aiyuk and Trent Williams since they were in close contact and the 49ers will not have enough time to clear them for their Thursday Night’s game against the Packers.
Many fans called for the game to be moved to Sunday, but there are no indications of any change and the 49ers will likely play on Thursday Night without their starting three receivers and a plethora of injuries.
