Instead of Drafting James Wiseman, the Warriors Want to Sign THIS Center:
The Golden State Warriors have made it very clear they do not intend to draft Wiseman, or any Center with their third pick in this year’s NBA Draft. Although they desperately need one, Kerr and the Warriors just aren’t sold on the Centers in this draft.
This has lead many to wonder if they are considering LaMelo Ball or Deni Avdija in the draft, and also, what they are going to do about their Center situation.
It does indeed look like they have a plan, though. According to Shams Charania, the Golden State Warriors are going to be pursuing free agent Dwight Howard.

Dwight Howard had a phenomenal comeback season with the Los Angeles Lakers. Howard averaged 7.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game while playing just 18.9 minutes. He looked like his old self defensively, stopping anyone in the paint from scoring and getting some monster slams.
On the Warriors, Dwight would take Javale Mcgee’s role as the explosive, defensive-minded Center who would make up for Draymond’s size. If Dwight signs with the Warriors, we could see an old dynasty return for years to come.
