The Turkish International has moved onto Premier League side Leicester City on a £3 million loan with a £24 million obligation to buy next summer. Cengiz Ünder leaves the Italian team AS Roma and packs his bags to England, enjoying a 3-year stay in Rome after playing in his home country of Turkey with İstanbul Başakşehir.
Ünder will team up with his Turkey teammate, Caglar Söyüncü as the Foxes seem to want to boost every aspect of their team hoping to compete in this season’s Premier League and Europa League and secure a spot in next years Champions League.
Northern Ireland boss of Leicester, Brendan Rodgers would be able to teach Cengiz Ünder as he is only 23-years old , and with an untapped amount of potential the different routes for his career are immeasurable and will fit the style of football the Foxes play with. Cengiz Ünder will have to adapt to a different form of football as it can get very different compared to the style played in Italy, but that is something he will learn the course of time. The Turkish youngster is a versatile player who can dominate the right-wing along with the left-wing and without a question, if called upon so can man down the center attacking midfield.
