Biggest All-NBA snubs of this season

The All-NBA Teams for the 2019-2020 season were announced and many notable players were left off of the list. Some of the big names that were not announced were, Wizards guard Bradley Beal, Suns guard Devin Booker, Hawks point guard Trae Young and Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell.

Beal, 27, had an amazing season for the Washington Wizards. The star shooting guard averaged 30.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 6.1 assists. He also shot 57.9 percent from the floor. Only three other players have met those statistical averages in a season, those players being, Michael Jordan, Oscar Robertson, and James Harden. Beal also averaged the most points for anyone who was left off the All-NBA team since the 1975-1976 season.

Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker finally made an all-star game this season after being just short multiple years in a row. Booker, 23, averaged 26.6 points and was the main bright spot in the Phoenix Suns amazing play inside the Orlando bubble.

Trae Young put up amazing numbers in his second season as a pro. The Atlanta Hawks point guard was fourth is points per game and second in assists per game, with 29.6 and 9.3 respectively. Young made his first all-star team this year and was a starter. However, he still wasn’t included in the 2019-2020 All-NBA Team.

Donovan Mitchell, 24, also made his first all-star game this season and was still an All-NBA snub. Mitchell put up 24.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.3 assists. He led the Utah Jazz, along with Rudy Gobert, to the Western Conference semifinals. Despite leading the series 3-1 against the Denver Nuggets, Utah fell short. Mitchell did play out of his mind.

Many other players were arguably All-NBA subs and it was clear who was left off of the list, when everything was released.
