DEAL DONE: Kai Havertz Signs on a 5-year deal with Chelsea

This Afternoon the German International completed his long-awaited move to Stamford Bridge and is ready to lace up his boots with Chelsea. Kai Havertz leaves his boyhood team Bayern Leverkusen tagging along with Timo Werner after he made his move from RB Leipzig earlier this summer.

It is without a question that Chelsea will be some hefty competition this Premier League campaign to challenge for the title along with Liverpool and Manchester City with Manchester United not far behind. The rumors of Chelsea signing Havertz were one of the biggest transfer talks all summer but at the end of it the Blues ended up having their marquis signing. Chelsea’s signing of Kai Havertz for £80 million-plus additional bonuses now makes him the clubs most expensive signing passing the price Chelsea purchased the shot-stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga in 2018, time will only tell if splurging all that cash will pay off so fans will just have to wait as they witness.
