Dennis Schroder Places Second in Sixth-Man of the Year Voting

Thunder sixth-man, Dennis Schroder, finished second place in voting for the sixth-man of the year award. In first place was Clippers, Montrezl Harrell, and in third was Clippers, Lou Williams.

In first was Clippers center, Montrezl Harrell. Harrell played a key role coming off the bench for the Clippers this season. Harrell averaged 18.6 points on 58% from the field and grabbed 7.6 rebounds per game.

In second was Thunder guard, Dennis Schroder. Schroder was big part of the Thunder’s success this season. Schroder came off the bench and was electric on both ends of the floor. Schroder averaged 18.9 points and 4.0 assists per game. Schroder was also a part of the Thunders three-guard lineup which was statistically one of the best lineups in the league.

In third came Clippers guard, Lou Williams. After dominating the sixth-man of the year award for years, Lou Williams did not win this season. Although Williams placed third, he did have a very good year off the bench for the Clippers. Williams scored 18.2 points and dished out 5.6 assists per game and help the Clippers bench on the offensive end tremendously.
