Marcus Smart Fined $5k For Flop Against Toronto In Game 2

Marcus Smart was fined for a flop that occurred during Game 2 of the second-round series against the Toronto Raptors.

Smart was hustling back on a fast-break by Fred VanVleet of the Raptors and made it seem as though Pascal Siakam, who was trailing the play, pushed him causing the referees to call an offensive foul. This was a crucial call as every point made a difference in a very close game.

Smart followed up that play with a red-hot streak where he hit 5 triples to comeback against Toronto.

This hasn’t been Smart’s first offence either as he has been a repeat offender throughout his career.
