Walker Puts Up 24 As The Celtics Take Game Three
The Boston Celtics have defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 102-94. Boston now takes a three game lead in the series. The 76ers did keep is close throughout. They were only down by two with three minutes left in the game, but couldn’t pull through.
Point Guard Kemba Walker had a solid night, for the Celtics, with 24 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. The all-star shot 50 percent from the floor. Marcus Smart didn’t score much, with 14, but did contribute elsewhere. He added another 8 rebounds, and 3 assists. Despite winning, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown did not play the best. Brown put up 21 points, but shot just 6-16, and 1-5 from deep. However, he did haul in 7 rebounds, and 3 assists. Tatum was held to just 15 points, shooting 31 percent in the game. Starting center Daniel Theis didn’t do much throughout as he fouled out with a few minutes to go in the ball game.

The 76ers feel short, but center Joel Embiid put up 30 points ans grabbed 13 rebounds. Philadelphia had three players finish with double-digit rebound totals. Forward Tobias Harris dropped 15 points but also snagged in 15 rebounds. Al Horford, who is starting in place of the injured Ben Simmons, added another 10 rebounds, but was held to just 6 points. The 76ers did not shoot the best with only 29.5 percent of their shots falling. The bench remained silent with Alec Burks being the only player to put up points with 9.
