The Thunder Look to Bounce Back in Game 2 Against the Rockets After Watching Film

After a brutal game one loss to the Rockets, the Thunder move back to the drawing board for game two.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, after a rough game one, worked with Billy Donovan to fix the issues he had attacking the rim.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: “I wasn’t ready for how they protected the paint.”

Shai and Donovan both mentioned the Rockets’ paint protection multiple times. Shai said they would make a couple of adjustments.

Chris Paul hopes the Thunder replicate some of the stretches of success they had in game one. Paul desires the Thunder to look for Danilo Gallanari and Steven Adams more in game two since Gallanari and Adams were the only starters who found consistent success in game 1.

Chris Paul: “We gotta find Steve-O and Gallo more.”

Adams and Gallinari scored 17 and 29 points, and both scored efficiently.

The Thunder seem hopeful and will try to get their “swag” back heading into game two.

Dennis Schroder: “Last night was nothing good about our defense. We watched a lot of film. That is not how we played throughout the season.

Chris Paul views the game as a minor set back and is focused on the bigger picture.
