With a 47.9% chance of falling out of the top 4 in the lottery, the Cavaliers are clearly preparing for every circumstance. According to Matt Babcock, they Cavaliers will almost certainly deeply consider selecting Deni Avdija, 6’10” combo forward from israel, with the 5th or 6th pick in the draft. The Cavaliers have made it clear they would prefer drafting a forward instead of a point guard, which makes Deni a lot of sense for them.

Deni has one of the most impressive resumes coming into the draft. He helped Israel win the U20 championship and was the MVP of the tournament, he also is a 3X winner league champ and recently became the youngest player in Winner League History to win the MVP. There is a strong chance that Deni will be taken in the top 4 but lottery order will be determiner of where in the draft he will be selected.
