Wizards End Their Season on a High Note Against the Celtics
Not that it was an impressive win, but the Wizards did manage to grab on in the bubble.
Thomas Bryant and the Wizards took the game 96-90 against the Celtics second and third unit players.
No Celtics core players played a single minute this game as they were already guaranteed the #3 seed so there was no point in risking an injury.
Despite that, it’s still a nice send-off for the Wizards.
Thomas Bryant had a great finale, scoring 26 points on 10-15 shooting and 2-4 from deep. He also pulled in 9 rebounds, stole the ball 4 times, and swatted 2 shots. He was an impressive player who really showed what he could do in the bubble, and will be a great piece next year when John Wall and Bradley Beal return.
As for the Celtics, Javonte Green scored 23 points himself to keep the game close all the way through.
The Wizards are returning home as they did not qualify for the play-in
The Celtics will have their first-round series against the Philadelphia 76ers.
