Brad Stevens has Signed a Contract Extension
The Boston Celtics have signed head coach Brad Stevens to a contract extension. The terms of the deal are currently unknown.
Stevens was named head coach of the team in July 2013 and has since recorded a win-loss record of 318-245 (.565) in his six plus seasons with the team. His 318 wins as head coach for the team is the 4th highest by any Celtics coach in history.

Stevens has been called one the best coaches in the NBA.
President of basketball operations Danny Ainge has said, “we [The Celtics] are honored to have him with us as we continue to pursue our next championship.”
The Celtics are about to go into their sixth consecutive postseason marking the franchise’s longest such streak since completing the feat from 2007-2008 to 2012-2013.
Stevens has been named coach of the month 3 times in his time with the Celtics and he also coached the Eastern Conference All-Star team in 2017.
