Ben Simmons Out Indefinitely
During the Philadelphia 76ers’s game against the Washington Wizards, the worst possible event happened: Ben Simmons injured his left knee.
Reports came out that Simmons received a subluxation in his left platella after limping off the court.
Ben Simmons has been a crucial part of the 76ers team, especially since the NBA restart.
Brett Brown decided to move Ben Simmons to the Power Forward in order to get more shooting, starting Shake Milton instead of Al Horford. Simmons had been playing great defense both inside and on the perimeter, and was a huge factor in their success despite a disappointing stat line.
Simmons is already officially out for Friday’s game against the Magic and is considering treatment options that would sideline him further.
Embiid is going to have to carry the load for the 76ers until Simmons is better.
