Randy Orton announces his next opponent

“The Viper” Randy Orton starts off by talking about his resume and accomplishments in the WWE. Orton mentions that he wants to become WWE Champion once again. He starts to take jabs at WWE Champion Drew McIntyre and brings up the champion’s time before he got fired, years back. Randy Orton officially calls out Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at Summerslam.

Raw Tag Team Number 1 contender’s match – Andrade and Angel Garza vs. The Viking Raiders vs. Ricochet and Cedric Alexander

All three teams saw action at the beginning of the match but it did take a while for anyone to take out the Viking Raiders. Andrade and Erik, who is one half of The Viking Raiders, begin to go at it but Andrade attacks Erik and goes for the pin but it’s only a two count. Andrade tries to deliver more blows but Erik reverses and falls back and Ricochet and Garza tag in. Ricochet punches Garza a couple of times and hits an uppercut. He throws Garza to the corner and runs into him, supplying more pressure. Ricochet uses his high flying ability to kick Garza in the head. The Viking Raiders end up back in the matchup and Erik is on a role. Erik tries to dive outside of the ring but Garza counters with a kick to the head. Ivar then heads to the top rope and takes out everyone but Garza escapes. Alexander and Garza end up in the ring but Garza hits the Wing Clipper for the win. Andrade and Angel Garza win via. pinfall over Ricochet and Cedric Alexander and will face the Street Profits at Summerslam – Grade B

Shayna Baszler vs. Nia Jax

The match did not last long at all. The two women began to brawl and they took it to the outside of the ring. They kept fighting and eventually were counted out, ending their match up. The women keep fighting until security tries to stop it. One security guard attempts to hold back Baszler but she locks in her submission move, the Cerribuda Clutch. Jax then takes down a WWE official. She would later be fined for her actions. Shayna Baszler vs. Nia Jax ends in a double countout – Grade C

Dominik Mysterio Responds to Seth Rollins

Rollins starts talking about everyone he has beaten recently, including Rey Mysterio. Dominik Mysterio, Rey Mysterio’s son, then comes down to the ring. Rollins asks Dominik to join his movement with Murphy, but Dominik declines and takes Rollins down. Murphy then attacks Dominik and Rollins joins. Dominik is then beaten down and was almost “sacrificed” but Aleister Black runs down to the ring to try and help but is hit with a Stop from Rollins. Black is almost “sacrificed” as well but Dominik uses a kendo stick started to beat Rollins and Murphy down.

“The VIP Lounge” with special guest Mustafa Ali

“The VIP Lounge” starts with host MVP, Bobby Lashley, and 24/7 Champion Shelton Benjamin in the ring. MVP invites Ali to the ring and offers to help him. Ali does not accept and while all of a sudden former 24/7 Champion R-Truth tackles Benjamin to the outside of the ring and goes for the cover, Benjamin kicks out at two. MVP and Lashley try to attack R-Truth but he gets away.

Bobby Lashley vs, Mustafa Ali

Lashley outpowers Ali throughout the beginning of the match, not allowing Ali to gain any offense. Lashley sends Ali to the outside and then throws him into the ring post. Back in the ring, Lashley attempts to finish off Ali but takes a shot to the eye. Ali then hits the Satellite DDT and heads to the top rope. Ali tries to hit the 450 from the top rope but misses and Lashley locks in the Full Nelson. Lashley holds the submission move and forces Ali to tap out. Bobby Lashley wins via. submission – Grade C

Raw Women’s Championship Match – Asuka (c) vs. Sasha Banks

This championship match had a couple of rule changes. The two rule changes were that the title could change hands via. disqualification or count out. Asuka gained the quick upper-hand in the match hitting a couple of kicks. Banks, however, would gain control and would send “The Empress” Asuka into the announce table. Banks thinks she has won but Asuka just breaks the count and gets back into the ring. Eventually, Banks will try to taunt Asuka but gets rolled up and kicks out at two. Banks would counter with the Banks Statement and has it locked in. Asuka would then reverse the hold and attack the ankle of Banks. She would then sets her sights on the top rope and hit Banks with a dropkick, but a live video starts to play of Bayley attacking Kairi Sane. Asuka can’t believe it and worries about her tag-team partner. Asuka attempts to refocus and hits a German Suplex but is still worried. Asuka keeps trying to wear down Banks but Sane yells for Asuka. Asuka leaves the ring and goes to help Sane, leaving Banks in the ring. The referee counts Asuka out and Banks in the new Raw Women’s Champion. Sasha Banks wins via. countout to win the Raw Women’s Champion – Grade B

Humberto Carrillo vs. Murphy

Carrillo was an ally of Mysterio, so he was looking to get revenge on Murphy as he is a “disciple” of Seth Rollins. Murphy started off fast, gaining control quickly. However, Carrillo would eventually counter with an elbow to the face of Murphy. Carrillo heads to the top rope but Murphy pushes Carrillo down. The “Juggernaut” Murphy tried to gain momentum but Carrillo lands a kick. Carrillo would keep up the energy and head to the top rope once again. He lands a dropkick to the head of Murphy and goes for the cover, but Murphy kicks out at two. Carrillo attempts to put Seth Rollins’ “disciple” away but it hit by Murphy Law and is pinned. Murphy wins via. pinfall – Grade C+

Main Event: Extreme Rules Match – Drew McIntyre vs. Dolph Ziggler

Just before the match begins, WWE Champion Drew McIntyre accepts Randy Orton’s challenge for a championship match at Summerslam. Ziggler would then head towards the ring and make McIntyre name the stipulation. The WWE Champion chooses an Extreme Rules match, but both wrestlers have the same rules. When the match started, both wrestlers went at each other outside of the ring. Ziggler begins to use a kendo stick and unloads on McIntyre. Ziggler keeps the momentum up, but McIntyre would eventually take the kendo stick out of Ziggler’s hands and hit him with it. “The Showoff” Dolph Ziggler tries to regain control but McIntyre picks up Ziggler and runs through the barricade. Both wrestlers would end up back in the ring and Ziggler gains control. He hits a Fameasser and counters a Clamore with a Zig-Zag. McIntyre eventually would finish the job with a Claymore sending Ziggler through a table. As the show was about to end, Orton hits McIntyre with an RKO. Drew McIntyre wins via. pinfall – Grade A-
