Lamar Jackson Comments on Potential Antonio Brown Signing
The Baltimore Ravens have started training camp and interviews. One question that has been asked quite often about the Ravens is if they would sign former Steeler and All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown.
When asked about the situation Jackson said, “It was nice throwing to Antonio Brown this off-season. I was hoping we could get him. I’m still hoping — a little bit” (via. Jamison Hensley).
Antonio Brown is the cousin of current Ravens wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown. Rumors started circling when Brown became a free-agent.

Brown, 32, was arguably the league’s best wideout and served as Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger’s top target. Brown has totaled 11,263 yards on 841 receptions during his career. The 10-year veteran has also scored 75 touchdowns with multiple 10-plus touchdown seasons.
The free-agent wide receiver had stints with the Raiders and Patriots. While with the formerly known Oakland Raiders, Brown dealt with some off the field issues a frostbite incident. Brown was released, but signed with the New England Patriots. However, he only played one game before he was accused of sexual assault.
The Ravens currently have second-year man Hollywood Brown and veteran Willie Snead IV leading the receiving core. If the Ravens were to add Brown, the arguably the best offense in the NFL would improve significantly. According to cbssports.com, the Ravens are currently favored to win the AFC North for the third consecutive year.
