Trae Young Signs a Deal With Popular Sports Drink Brand

Athletes make their money a lot of ways. Aside from their NBA contracts, endorsements are probably the most popular way NBA players get paid.

Trae Young is the latest to jump on that train as he has signed a deal to become the spokesman for the popular sports drink: Body Armor.

Body Armor is known as the little brother to Gatorade and Powerade, both brands that get countless athletes to join their commercials and endorse them.

Well, Body Armor is finally getting one of the most famous athletes to join them. Trae Young is a rising superstar on the Atlanta Hawks who’s play mirrors that of Stephen Curry’s.

He averaged 29.6 points, 9.3 assists, and 4.3 rebounds this season while shooting 43.7% from the field and 36.1% from deep. His offensive abilities are nearly unreachable and he is only 21 years old.

The two parties are going to both benefit from this as Trae will get his money and Body Armor gets their main spokesman. It will be interesting to see how this plays out, and for how long.
