Michael Beasley Will Not Join Brooklyn in the Bubble

Michael Beasley will not join the Brooklyn Nets for the NBA’s resumed season, therefore giving them an open roster spot.

This decision stems from Beasley’s positive COVID-19 test. The Nets had just recently signed him due to the amount of players within the franchise that have not traveled to Orlando. Although he was going to most likely be suspended five games, Beasley would have certainly helped the scoring load on a depleted Nets roster when he returned.

One popular candidate to take his spot is 26 year old forward Justin Anderson. Although his career up to this point has been quite lackluster, his 6’6”, 230 lb frame should give Brooklyn another big body.

No one knows if Michael Beasley will ever be back in the league, but it sure does make for some interesting headlines.
