Eric Bledsoe has tested positive for Covid-19. While he may seem like a role player, Bledsoe’s impact on the Bucks is something they will miss dearly should he miss some playing time.

While Eric Bledsoe might not have an extensive playoff experience, he’s an excellent perimeter defender. Also, as point guard, he is the primary playmaker on the team. Giannis Antetokounmpo can, at times, be a playmaker for his team, but will it be sufficient enough for the Bucks come playoff time?

It is likely George Hill will replace Eric Bledsoe in the starting lineup. Will Hill fill in for Bledsoe effectively? Hill can take the role of being a perimeter defender and primary playmaker, but will he be able to embrace the role of third scoring option behind Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton? It is doubtful he will, so guys like Wesley Matthews and Brook Lopez will need to step up with their scoring.
