Lakers Guard, Rajon Rondo, Suffers Broken Thumb Injury During Practice
Lakers guard and veteran, Rajon Rondo, suffered a right thumb injury during a team practice with the Lakers on Sunday night.
The Lakers announced that they expect Rondo to miss six-eight weeks due to the injury. The Lakers also said that Rondo will undergo a surgery in order to repair the injury.
Rajon Rondo was averaging 7.1 PTS, 5 AST, and 3 rebounds per game before the NBA hiatus.
During the hiatus, Rondo discovered a new hobby in boxing. Rondo was also looking like he was in the best shape for a while in a video posted on social media.
The Lakers, already missing Avery Bradley, will miss Rondo for some time in the return so look out for Caruso and Quinn Cook to fill Rondo’s role when NBA basketball resumes.
