Anthony Davis Will Have His Last Name On Jersey.

Los Angeles Lakers star forward, Anthony Davis has said that he will wear his last name on the back of his jersey instead of a social justice statement.

Lakers teammate Lebron James also said that he will not have a social justice statement on his jersey and will wear his last name.

The NBA released a list of approved statements that players could put on their jerseys a couple weeks ago. James said that nothing on the list ”resonated with his goal.”

The list of statements included: Black Lives Matter, Vote, Say their names, I can’t breathe, Equality and freedom among others.

Davis has not yet said why he has chosen to not wear a social justice statement on his jersey.
