Bradley Beal to Sit Out Continued Season

0

Bradley Beal will sit out the continued season due to an injury to his shoulder.

This is a huge blow to the Washington Wizards, who will now have to attempt to make the playoffs without their star player. Seeing as though they are already six games back of the eight seed, their playoff aspirations look a whole lot bleaker without Beal in the rotation.

This season was the best of Beal’s career. With averages of 30.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game, many believed that he was the biggest snub off of the all-star team this year.

Although much harder without Beal, Washington still has a shot at making the playoffs. If they get within four games of the eight seed spot, they will be eligible to compete in the play-in tournament.

For this to happen, they have to hope that either the Orlando Magic or Brooklyn Nets do poorly in the eight game continued regular season.

Nonetheless, this is possibly the worst situation the Wizards could have found themselves in right before the playoffs.
