Victor Oladipo has decided not to travel to Orlando for the continued NBA season.

Shams Charania tweeted out that the all-star guard has opted to sit out for the rest of the NBA season. His reason being that he wants to focus on getting his body the healthiest it can be.

“I have to be smart and this decision hasn’t been easy, but I truly believe continuing on the course I’m on and getting fully healthy for the 2020-21 season is the right decision for me,” Oladipo told The Athletic.

Although this comes as a surprise, this may be the smartest decision Oladipo can make at this time. After all, he is coming off of an injury in which he ruptured the quad tendon in his right knee.

It should be interesting to see how the Indiana Pacers fare after losing their star for a second time.
