Kirk and Simpson Tied Heading Into the Weekend

Webb Simpson was on fire today at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Simpson shot 8-under-par on the day to tie for the lead at 12-under-par.

Chris Kirk also played fantastic golf today. Kirk posted a score of 7-under-par and is tied at 12-under-par for the lead.

Ryan Armour and Matthew Wolfe, after both posting scores of 8-under-par are tied with 4 others for 3rd place.

Tyrell Hatton recovered his round on the last 5 holes. Hatton finished the round 5-under-par and is tied for 11th place and is 3-strokes back of the leaders.

Yesturdays leaders, Kevin Kisner, Doc Redman, and Scott Stallings shot 3-under-par, 2-under-par, and 1-under-par respectively and are tied for 9th, 11th, and 20th with others respectively.
