Game Review: 2019 NBA Finals Game 1.
On May 30th 2019, the NBA Finals began. The Golden State Warriors were there for the 5th straight season and the Toronto Raptors were there for the first time in franchise history.
Game 1 was at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
Steph Curry played 40 minutes in this game, he shot 8-18 from the field and 4-9 from beyond the arc which equates to 44.4% for total field goals and 3-point field goals. He shot 100% from the free throw line making all 14 attempts. He dished out 5 assists and got 5 rebounds. He scored a team high 34 points. Klay Thompson shot 8-17 from the field and 3-6 from 3-point range, he hit 2-2 free throws and scored a total of 21 points. Thompson grabbed 5 rebounds and got 1 assist in 39 minutes.

Draymond Green got a triple-double, he grabbed 10 boards, dished out 10 assists and scored 10 points on 2-9 shooting from the field and 6-6 shooting from the free throw line. He played 40 minutes.
Kawhi Leonard played 43 minutes and shot 5-14 from the field, 3-6 from 3-point range and 10-12 from the free throw line, he scored 23 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and got 5 assists. Pascal Siakam shot 14-17 from the field, 2-3 from 3 and 2-2 from the line. He scored a team high 32 points. He also got 8 rebounds and 5 assists, along with 2 blocks and 1 steal.



Fred VanVleet came off the bench for the Raptors, he played 33 minutes and shot 5-8 from the field, he scored 15 points and dished out 2 assists.
In the end, it was the Raptors who took the Win with a final score of 118-109 giving the Raptors a 1-0 series lead.
