Although many players like Joe Ingles and Larry Nance Jr have expressed their concerns about bringing back the NBA season in the midst of a pandemic, the NBA has clearly heard their pleas and is bringing about new technology to ensure there’s no breakout in the NBA community.

All NBA players are going to be required to wear a ‘Smart Ring’ at Disney World. The Smart Ring is capable of predicting COVID-19 symptoms up to three days before they actually start to show and have a tested 90% accuracy.

Along with the Smart Ring, NBA players will be required to wear ‘Magic Bands’ unless they’re in the midst of working out or playing. The Magic Band will also act as a hotel key for players to be able to go into their rooms or the hotel in general.

The NBA is also setting up security checkpoints and coronavirus screenings.

Similar to the Rings, these checkpoints will further ensure that players will be notified if they show any Coronavirus symptoms.

These rules also apply to family that is attending the games.

The NBA has made it clear that they want their players to be safe and are taking all the precautions necessary to take them. Adam Silver clearly knows what he is doing and he has done a fantastic job making sure players’ concerns are heard and addressed. The NBA will be back and as good as ever and it’s safe to assume that the NBA won’t suspend again.
