Las Vegas Raiders 2020 first-round pick (12th Overall) Henry Ruggs III was punctured while helping a friend move according to 24/7 Sports. Ruggs was caught between a trailer and a truck with the puncture just missing his femoral artery by an inch.
It is reported Ruggs is going to be fine escaping something that could have turned fatal. Ruggs was the first wide receiver taken in the 2020 draft that was considered to be one of the most stacked receiving classes in some time. The speed-demon heads to Las Vegas where he will become the No.1 receiver for the Raiders and provide the explosiveness they lacked last season and now have one of the fastest receivers in the league.
In Ruggs final season at Alabama, he recorded 746 receiving yards on 40 receptions and 7 touchdowns as the second option for the Crimson Tide. Now entering the role where he will be the go-to option on the team you can expect to see more impressive numbers and a potential Offensive Rookie of the Year candidate.
