The “Bradley Beal Sweepstakes”

0

Bradley Beal is a shooting guard on the Washington Wizards, and with John Wall injured, the wizards have continually missed the playoffs. Beal this season put up averages of 30.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 6.1 assists, and is no doubt a proven star in this league (despite missing the all-star game this season.) Many have predicted him to request a trade out of Washington in order to start winning and building a legacy. However no such request has came from Beal yet. Could he possibly be waiting for John Wall to return from injury?

Recently, it’s been revealed that the Brooklyn Nets have been internally discussing ways in which they could acquire Bradley Beal from the Wizards. Once Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving come back next season from their injuries, Brooklyn desires to pair a third star with them in hopes of contending for the championship. Will Bradley Beal be that third star to acquire in the off-season?

“There are no Beal sweepstakes.” Mark Bartelstein, Bradley Beal’s agent, claims in response to the rumors that he will be traded to Brooklyn. Is it time for Brooklyn to pursue a new third star? Will Bradley Beal eventually get out of Washington, or will he remain loyal? Only time will answer these questions.
