Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza out of UFC 249

Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza has been pulled from his preliminary bout against Uriah Hall, due to a positive COVID-19 test. UFC 249 will continue with 11 bouts, instead of the original 12, meaning that Uriah Hall won’t be able to compete. There were rumors of fellow Brazilian, Gilbert Burns filling in for “Jacare,” but with Burns being scheduled to fight Tyron Woodley in the main event of UFC Fight Night 175 later this month, “Durinho” Burns will have to wait.
