Marshawn Lynch has revealed his agent Doug Hendrickson and the Seattle Seahawks have been in the talks about a possible return for the 2020 season. Lynch came out of retirement to sign a contract with the Seahawks for the last week of the regular season and playoffs.

“My agent has been in talks with Seattle, so like I said, we’ll see what happens. If it works out and I get back out there, it is what it is,” said Lynch. “Never say never”

Lynch came out of retirement as the Seahawks were in desperate need of a running back as starter Chris Carson fractured his hip in a week 16 vs the Cardinals. Seattle also lost backup Rashaad Penny earlier in the season due to a season-ending injury and third-stringer C.J. Prosise was ruled out for week 17. The Seahawks were left with no active running back active for their week 17 matchup vs the divisional rival 49ers forcing them to bring back Beast Mode.

In two postseason games for the Seattle Lynch rushed for a total of 33 yards on 18 carries and 3 touchdowns. With Lynch rushing for 3 touchdowns he moved into fourth on the all-time postseason rushing touchdowns.
