Frank Gore has signed a 1-year deal with the New York Jets returning for his 16th year and what may be his final year in the league. Gore will be reuniting with former head coach Adam Gase as they both spend some time together while being a part of the Miami Dolphins.

Gore played in all 16 regular-season games last season for the Buffalo Bills where he rushed for 599 yards on 166 carries and 2 touchdowns. Gore was also helpful in the passing game for the Bills as he caught 13 passes for 100 yards, a career-low for the 16-year veteran. In a week 4 matchup against the Patriots Gore rushed for 109 yards making him just the fourth NFL player in history to rush for a total of 15,000 yards and became the second-oldest player to rush for 100+ yards in a game.

Gore is 36 (turns 37 in May) and this might be playing his last season in the NFL and has a high chance of being inducted into the Hall of Fame.
