Telvin Smith Arrested For Unlawful Sexual Activity With Minors
Former Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Telvin Smith, has been arrested in Jacksonville for unlawful sexual activity with minors via Michael DiRocco of ESPN.
Smith was booked at Duval County Jail at 5:20 p.m ET and is being held on a $50,003 bond. The once Jaguar star, stepped away from the league before the 2019 season started to “get his life in order” as he was dealing with personal issues.
The Jaguars placed him on a team reserved/retired list on July 24, 2019, meaning that he would be allowed to return to the team after filing for reinstatement. Smith, played for Jacksonville for five years. He was one of the key parts to its defense, making the Pro-Bowl and being selected to the Second-team All-Pro in 2017.
