The Guide on supporting an AFL Team
Recently, the Australian Football League has received a fair amount of attention in the US due to former NFL punter, Pat McAfee raving about the sport for the past month. I (the author) am Australian and I love the sport with a strong passion. Considering that a fair amount of our viewers aren’t Aussie, I thought I’d give a guide on supporting an AFL team. We will rank teams in order (18 being awful to 1 being brilliant). The ranking is based on, how many premierships the team has won (premierships are much like Super Bowls), when the team started playing, describe what their fans are like, where they finished in the standings in the previous season, and we’ll also compare them to NBA teams. The teams past, present, and futures will all play a role in their rank. We are going to be ranking this from worst to best using all the considerations just listed. If you would like to know the rules of AFL, click on this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMZYZcoAcU0 . Without further ado, let’s roll into the list.
