The NBA world was stunned when Dwyane Wade gave Aaron Gordon a score of 9 out of 10 on his final dunk in the dunk contest. Gordon brought out Tacko Fall, one of the tallest players in NBA history, and proceeded to jump over him, grab the ball, and dunk it with force. Commentators and fans alike were certain this would garner a score of 50, but it ended up getting a score of 47, ultimately giving Gordon the loss.
Although Wade wasn’t the only judge to give Gordon a 9, the bias could be smelt from miles away. Gordon’s opponent was none other than Derrick Jones Jr., a young, high flying player who currently suits up in a Miami Heat uniform, the team Wade played for and won three championships with. Hate has been spewing towards Wade since this happened, but nothing of this caliber.
Gordon just dropped a diss track on Wade titled none other than ‘9 out of 10’. On this track, Gordon disses Wade a multitude of times, saying things like “looking at your judgement and everybody’s wondering” and “Even Adam Silver told me I deserved the gold.” It’s safe to say the NBA world will be talking about this for contest for years to come.
